I usually stop in here when the specials look good, or at least when I think they do. The discounts on meat and snacks can really help, though I’ve noticed some of the better deals sell out fast. Maybe I just go at the wrong time, but overall it’s still a good place to shop.

"Easy enough to use, but I felt a bit ignored"
The site is easy to get around, and the search works fine for the most part. Checkout can be a little slow sometimes, which isn’t a huge deal, but when I had a question it kind of felt like no one was really paying attention or getting back to me. Overall it works, but that part was a bit frustrating.

"Pretty fair prices most of the time"
I shop at Countdown most weeks, and overall I’ve found the prices to be fair. I usually try to plan around the specials, and when I do, it’s easy enough to keep my grocery bill under control. Every now and then I’ll notice something that’s cheaper somewhere else, but it usually balances out by the time I’m done. I don’t walk out feeling like I’ve been ripped off, which is really all I’m after

"Click and collect was easy, right?"
I tried Countdown click and collect last week and it was straightforward. My order was ready when they said it would be, and the staff were really friendly, which always helps. They did swap one item for something I probably wouldn’t have chosen myself, but I guess that happens with these things, doesn’t it? Not a huge issue overall. Handy service and I’d use it again.

"Refund was easy, but still annoying"
Had to get a refund because an item was missing, which was frustrating because I just wanted what I ordered. To be fair, the refund itself was handled without much hassle. It took about a day or so, but it got sorted in the end.

"Actually packed properly for once"
Got my Countdown order and, it was packed really well. The cold items were still cold, nothing was crushed, and there were no leaky bottles making a mess, which I feel like should be the standard but somehow isn’t always. The bags were easy to unpack too, so whoever packed this clearly knew what they were doing. Happy with it overall, 5 stars from me.

"Nearly all my usual stuff was actually available"
I did my normal shop on countdown.co.nz and was happy because almost everything I wanted was in stock. Things like milk, bread, fruit, snacks, cleaning stuff, and the usual dinner bits were all there, which feels like a win these days. Only one item ended up getting swapped, and even that wasn’t a big deal. The site was easy to use too, I could quickly find the basics, add my regular things, check specials, and sort out the order without wandering around the aisles myself. Saved me time, saved me effort, and saved me from forgetting random stuff like toothpaste or bananas.

"Checkout was easy, but finding a delivery slot was annoying"
I used countdown.co.nz for my weekly shop and the checkout part was straightforward. My cart was easy to look over, and changing quantities didn’t take much effort.
The payment went through without any issues, but finding a delivery slot was the frustrating bit. I had to keep clicking around for a while to find a time that worked, and it felt like I was waiting longer than I should’ve just to finish the order.
I did get the confirmation email straight away once it was done, which was good. Overall it wasn’t perfect, but it was mostly fine and I’d probably use it again.

I’ll be honest, I usually don’t trust customer service to actually sort things out without a hassle, but this time they replied really quickly and fixed my issue. Was a nice surprise, cheers.

I’ve been using Countdown delivery for a few months now and it’s been really reliable. My orders have shown up when they said they would, and the drivers are usually friendly too. I was in a relaxed mood the last time it arrived because I didn’t have to rush out to the shops. No dramas at all

"Pretty good for my weekly shop"
I use the Countdown app most weeks for my grocery shopping, and it works well overall. It’s easy to add things to my list or cart, and I like being able to check the specials without having to hunt around. It does freeze a little sometimes when I’m checking out, which is annoying, but maybe I’m just being impatient? It hasn’t been bad enough to stop me using it. I’d give it 4 stars.
